Waye’s Bee Co. was established in 2018 to produce and package local and quality honey and other beehive products for the Nigerian market.  Most of the honey we consume in Nigeria is imported – yet we have poor farmers living in rural communities who produce honey in large quantities. Waye’s Bee Co. seeks to improve the livelihood of these farmers by providing a guaranteed market for their honey and paying a fair price for their produce. We provide training for rural beekeepers on modern beekeeping methods in order to meet our strict quality standards. Our mission is to build a sustainable beekeeping business, support smallholder producers and promote the importance of bees for food security. Waye’s Bee Co. currently owns and manages 90 beehives across four farms in Abuja and Benin.
